Falling in love does not only mean feelings of happiness, but also the worries about being accepted as trans* or inter* or whether the other person might not mind. For non-binary and inter* people, the search for a gender role that feels right can be, in the absence of role models, as exciting new territory as it is a challenge that is hard to overcome alone. Feminine trans* and inter* people are repeatedly victims of fetishization, offensive exclusion, and violence.

For many, entering a together meeting point for the first time is a great inhibition threshold. Some walk round and round, cautiously looking in to see what is happening there – some then lose courage and go back home instead of going inside.
