Thanks to tireless work to make visible and equal rights, the general conditions for homosexual, bi- and pansexual as well as trans* and inter* people have improved significantly in recent years and decades.
Still, lesbian and gay and bi-/pansexual young people have a four to seven times higher risk of suicide than heterosexual young people, for trans* and inter* young people it is even higher. Among other things, they are exposed to exclusion, bullying and violence much more often and are more vulnerable to eating disorders or addictions.
The state has acknowledged this; together has therefore been supported by the state since its founding. However, the funding is often not enough to cover the necessary costs. In addition, we are obliged to generate our own financial contribution. In order to continue our important work, we are obliged to raise a distinctly five-digit amount every year. Therefore every donation is important! Please support us and the young people.
